Rare Item: Police Officer's Tanto Knife, Police Badge, Rising Sun Medal, Tanto, Ceremonial Sword, Imitation Sword, Replica Sword - Vintage

★ Product Information ★

[Description]
This is a tanto (short sword) with a police emblem (Rising Sun crest).
This is not a real sword, but a replica (mock sword) with no blade, so it is presumed to have been used as a ceremonial sword or had its blade replaced later.
When I acquired it, there was no detailed information, and I couldn't determine the era or specifics, possibly due to my limited research skills, but I estimate it to be from the Meiji to Taisho period.
As similar items are rarely available today, I believe this is a very rare piece.
Even the ones that occasionally appear seem to have their scabbard paint completely peeled off and rusted, so I believe the condition of this item is not bad.
Although it is an antique, it can be smoothly drawn and sheathed with a one-touch action, and there are no problems with opening or closing. However, due to age-related deterioration, the paint on the scabbard is currently peeling, so please consider this item with an understanding of its antique nature.
I am not an expert, so please prioritize the images over the title and description, and purchase only after careful examination and satisfaction.
To prevent any issues, please review the product description and images, and only purchase if you can make your own judgment, understanding, and agreement.
