VTG Los Angeles The Brides Cook Book Co Compliments Of Merchants RALPHS GROCERY

Vintage Brides Cook Book published in Los Angeles by the brides cook book co. This recipes book is compliments of the merchants whose names appear in this book, the main contributor is Ralph's Grocery Co, well before being purchased by Kroger. Many of the merchant's advertisements are for local California business, many of which I am sure no longer exist and have faded to obscurity. All the phone numbers start with one letter followed by a 4 digit number. No publishing year is listed but it was definitely published prior to 1958 based on the old telephone exchange numbers. Major advertisers include: Del Monte, Pillsbury, Kelloggs, violet brand shortening, Ghirardelli, Cadillac. Signs of wear are external spine damage/deterioration of the book but the pages inside are in pristine condition with little to no stains or damage. Some minor creasing on the ends of pages. Please be sure to review photos and feel free to reach out with any questions. Thanks!
