Description

Katsuyuki Shigeno Lithograph Taiiku Geijutsu AP 5/5

■About the Artist
Katsuyuki Shigeno is a Japanese printmaker who develops a unique worldview with sports and physical expression as his themes. This series, titled Taiiku Geijutsu (Sports Art), is a representative work that sublimates the beauty and dynamism of sports into art. Utilizing the lithography technique, the composition, where strength and delicacy coexist, brings a quiet excitement and poetic resonance to the viewer.

This work is an AP (Artist's Proof) 5/5. AP refers to a special edition printed exclusively for the creator's own keeping and use, separate from the edition numbers. Its rarity, with fewer pieces in circulation than regular edition works, is also a key attraction. Signed by the artist, this is a piece with high collectible value.
