Vintage 1970s Gail Craft Wood Salt Shaker Pepper Mill Grinder 10” Japan MCM

Beautiful tall vintage salt and pepper set by Gail Craft, featuring turned dark-finished wood bodies accented with brass-tone metal bases.  The matching pair includes a pepper mill/grinder with brass-tone top finial and coordinating salt shaker. Their tall, sculptural design and rich brown wood finish give them a wonderful 1970s Mid-Century Modern / retro kitchen look. Original foil label on the bottom reads:  Gail Craft  Quality Woodenware  Japan  Gail Craft’s trademark was filed in 1974 and its registered line included wooden household serving pieces and salt-and-pepper sets, making this a great example of 1970s Japanese-made Gail Craft kitchenware.  Set is in good vintage condition with normal age-related cosmetic wear including light scratches/scuffs and some wear/tarnish to the brass-tone metal. Wood retains a lovely rich finish.
