Vintage Rip Curl neoprene wetsuit hood featuring the classic circular Rip Curl Wet Suits – Torquay, Vic. Australia logo. Based on its construction, materials, stitching and branding, it appears to date from the late 1970s–mid 1980s, most likely early 1980s. Exact year/model is unconfirmed. Shows age-related creasing, surface wear and wear to the neoprene consistent with its vintage age. Sold as a collectible/display piece; not tested or guaranteed for water use. A great piece of early Australian surfing and Rip Curl history.  • Overall length: approximately 13–14 as photographed  Condition: Authentic vintage condition with significant age-related creasing, wrinkling and surface deterioration to the neoprene. There is wear around some stitching and reinforced areas consistent with age and use. The logo shows age/wear but remains very attractive and legible.   Please examine all photographs closely for condition.  Dating note: Period Rip Curl material and surviving early-1980s equipment support an early-1980s working date, but an exact catalog match for this particular hood has not yet been located.
