This set, including a *kaiken* (ceremonial sword) and *hakoseko* (ornamental pouch), was handmade from a new *furisode* (long-sleeved kimono).

Made of 100% silk, the color and luster are completely different from synthetic materials, making this a wonderful set.
Since the same pattern cannot be reproduced, this is a one-of-a-kind set in the world.

The fabric is high-quality Tango chirimen silk, 100% pure silk, from a *furisode*.
The color and pattern are completely different from printed synthetic or cotton fabrics.

It has the deep hues unique to Japan's world-renowned kimono fabric (100% silk).

The base is a calm red with a *sayagata* (interlocking geometric pattern) jacquard, brighter than crimson.

It's a lovely color reminiscent of deep red roses.

We have carefully cut the fabric so that the pattern is beautifully displayed when worn.

The *hakoseko* is sturdily constructed with cotton padding over thick paper.

This set, with the *kaiken* and *hakoseko*, would be perfect for coming-of-age ceremonies, as an addition to a mother's *furisode*, or for wedding receptions.
