Ceramic art tiles often undergo multiple coloring and firing processes, and require advanced craftsmanship to account for shrinkage during firing.

Therefore, some limited edition pieces may be traded at prices higher than their original purchase price.

Ceramic tiles are heavier than conventional paintings, but they have the significant advantage of being resistant to fading over long periods. If cared for properly, they can become valuable assets.
