Weller Etna Art Pottery Pansy Vase c.1906 Blush‎ Pink Raised Relief Antique

Weller's Etna line, introduced around 1906, featured raised and hand-painted floral decoration on softly blended grounds — and this pansy vase showcases a striking colorway. Rather than the more common gray ground, this example presents a blush pink-to-lavender airbrushed body against which large raised pansies in deep coral and burgundy with yellow centers trail along green stems. The painting is worked into the relief, giving each bloom depth and naturalism. The bulbous form tapers to a gently flared neck. Unmarked on the base, consistent with some early Etna production; heavy crazing appropriate to age. A compelling piece for collectors of American art pottery or Arts and Crafts decorative arts.  CONDITION: Excellent. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Age-appropriate crazing on body and base.
