Charles Lynn Bragg
Mother & Baby Kongoni
Pencil, colored pencil, acrylic on board
Price negotiable.
Kongoni are a type of hartebeest.
This is an original work.
There is a small signature on the front.
B R A G G
There is also a signature inside when opened.
Born in 1952, he is currently active in Los Angeles.
His animal paintings are distinctive and very popular, even appearing on stamps.
He has also published an art book titled WILD LIVES.
His posters and prints are also very popular, but this is a painted work. When viewed up close, the colored pencil strokes are clearly visible.
Since most of his works are prints, painted pieces are rare.
Posters command a certain price, and lithographs and other prints are also moderately priced.
I have been collecting his works, but I am currently downsizing and have decided to part with this piece.
It is in excellent condition with almost no damage.
I would like to pass it on to someone who will cherish it.
