Ebony Dragon Carving - Art Craft - Tabletop - Hand-carved - Luxury Item
289.08 $
Description
This is an ebony table.
While tables with carvings on only a portion are sometimes seen, this piece features intricate dragon carvings across the entire side, and the four legs are adorned with faces resembling dragons or deities, exuding a powerful presence. It is an exceptionally elaborate and magnificent work, and its purchase price decades ago far exceeded one million yen. The imposing presence is overwhelming.
Even those with no interest in furniture will recognize the commanding presence and luxurious quality of this item, sensing its high value.
Ebony is hard and tough, making it highly durable. Its characteristic black and brown grain develops a beautiful luster with polishing. Due to its extreme hardness and difficulty in processing, items with carvings are particularly treated as high-end products.
