Vintage Lot 4 x Pier 1 Checkerboard Stoneware Soup Cereal Bowls Blue White

Set of four vintage Pier 1 Imports stoneware soup / cereal bowls in the Checkerboard pattern. These substantial deep bowls feature a soft blue and cream checkerboard/plaid design with hand-drawn darker blue accent lines and a warm brown ring at the foot. The slightly irregular graphic pattern and stoneware construction give them a wonderful casual, artisan-inspired look. At approximately 6 across and 3 deep, they're a versatile size for cereal, soup, chili, oatmeal, rice bowls, ice cream and more.
