Vintage Made Austria Rhinestone Brooch Clear Crystal Starburst Pin

Beautiful vintage Made in Austria rhinestone brooch featuring an elaborate dimensional starburst/floral cluster of brilliant clear crystals.  The design centers on a large round faceted rhinestone surrounded by an alternating arrangement of round and pear/teardrop-shaped stones in multiple sizes. The openwork silvertone setting gives the stones plenty of light and creates a highly dimensional, sparkling appearance.  The reverse features a traditional pin stem with rollover-style safety clasp and is clearly stamped MADE AUSTRIA on the curved support. A wonderful example of mid-century Austrian rhinestone costume jewelry with excellent visual impact.
