Lot of 2 vintage Quinnehiticut Woolen Co. Ponemah Yarn skeins, made from 100% virgin wool. Labels state the wool was sheared from New England sheep and the yarn was made in America. Each skein is labeled Net Weight 4 oz. The label indicates 4-ply bulky weight, approximately 200 yards per skein, for approximately 400 yards total. Natural creamy/off-white wool color. Both original paper labels are present and show age/storage wear, including creasing, discoloration and tape/label wear. One skein has some visible surface/fiber wear and fuzziness to the yarn on the outside, as shown in the close-up photo. Please review all photos carefully for condition. A wonderful find for knitting, weaving, fiber arts, restoration projects, or a vintage American textile/yarn collection.
