Vintage Hitchcock Chairs Tea Towel Kitchen Linen Cotton Americana Decor Motifs

Vintage Lambert Hitchcock Stenciled Wooden Various Chairs Bench Tea Towel Kitchen Decor Textile Linen Blend American Decor Folk Art Hitchcocksville CT KayDee John Gerbitz No actual tags but new vintage and never used or washed Approximate measurements- 17”w x 29 1/2”L Keep in mind there are still original fold marks and not super flat. Even though it doesn’t have a fabric content tag (not required back then) it’s definitely linen but feels like it could be a blend of cotton too. As with most vintage linen, it should shrink a tiny bit when washed and will get softer with use and washing but stay super sturdy. The background is green and the edges are cream as shown against white. Researcher tells me it’s KayDee Handprints but I question the name John Gerbitz on bottom right. On the left side of the bench I point out a slight tan line, not sure if it’s “linen” or discolored…hardly noticeable. It’s just a unique item that is functional yet can be framed as wall decor. The cool wording on the bottom displays a vintage time- Hitchcocks-ville and Connecticut abbreviation Conn with the backwards “NN”. * the camera changes the colors when close up, see all photos for you to judge
