Mother's Tea Ceremony Companions
Wooden Incense Container, Leaf Shape
Approximate combined dimensions: 65 x 30 mm

A wooden incense container with a leaf shape and branch pattern, finished with a deep red lacquer.
The incense holder part is also shaped like a teardrop, adding a unique touch. It was carefully stored in a glass case and is unused.
Incense containers like this are rarely seen.

It seems my mother acquired this at a tea ceremony exhibition in Kyoto over 30 years ago. It was displayed at home.
I believe it was likely inspired by a maple leaf.
Please examine the photos and consider your purchase.

I am organizing the many tea ceremony items that my mother, a tea master, cherished.
She traveled the world and always acquired tools and ornaments she liked. Her students visited daily, and they enjoyed tea together.
Please look at the photos of my mother's tea ceremony companions and purchase if you find something you like.
Some are flawless, some are unused, some were loved and used, some have scratches...
The tea room remains as it was, and I feel it would be a shame for the tools and ornaments to just sleep there. I would like to pass them on to someone who will appreciate them.
