Description
Fiestaware Original Red Sugar Bowl Homer Laughlin. This has the original Woolworth Sticker on the bottom showing .98 cents. This piece belongs to the vintage line produced between 1936 and 1942. Vintage red glazes from this period typically contain depleted uranium oxide, which gives the glaze its distinct vibrant reddish-orange hue (often called radioactive red among collectors). There is a small chip on the inside rim of the dish which is not noticeable when the lid is on. Otherwise the piece is in very good vintage condition. Please note there are glaze misses on the piece which came this way from the factory.
