1951 silver-plate 2pc Holiday pattern Salad/Buffet set from National Silver Co

This exquisite two piece set is from the  National Silver Company Holiday pattern, a vintage silver-plate service set, produced in 1951 through NSC’s popular King Edward brand line.  Designed with beautifully crafted intricate multi-rose blooms clustered prominently at both the handle base tip and the neck, this set was bordered by elegant, deep scrolling scrollwork curves along the flared edge.  The Holiday pattern introduced a romanticized Victorian-revival look following World War II.  This hearty but gorgeous set weights approximately 370 grams (0.82 pounds), is 12 inches in length and measures at 5/32” thick.   Good, vintage condition.
