1940-1954 Joseph Weisner NY Brilliant Crystal Drop Rhinestone Statement Necklace

Vintage 1940-1954 Joseph Weisner NY Crystal Drop Rhinestone Statement Necklace Stunning!   This signed 1940 -1954 rare Joseph Weisner NY crystal drop rhinestone necklace is in great condition. It features three bell shape crystal drops separated by four round white crystal stones and the remainder of the chain is 10 mm prong-set round white crystal stones. The necklace is rhodium-plated, all the stones are prong-set and there is only one tiny missing stone on the fold over box clasp.  The crystals are brillant and clear without darkening - the two tiny glued in stones on the clasp have some greening and again the one tiny stone missing on the clasp. Surprisingly the rhodium plating that rests against the skin for the chain shows very little wear.   There is wear to the rhodium plating on the skin side of the crystal drops in front where they would rest against the chest. That is where the oval signature stamp resides. There is a tiny bit of greening to the hallmark.  Overall for a 72-year-old designer necklace this is in remarkable condition.
