This is a part removed from a Yamaha SG-600, which was manufactured for a short period in the early 1980s.
From a business perspective, parts were likely standardized as much as possible, so it is conceivable that this part is also compatible with other models. Based on catalogs and other information available to us, we believe this part was commonly installed and used in the following models manufactured during the same period. (Additionally, it is possible that it was installed and used in other models manufactured during the same period.)
Aside from the model name engraving, it is a common standard part for SG series models (SG600/SG800(S)/SG1000, etc.) and early SF series models (SF500/SF700/SF1000, etc.) manufactured during the same period. To our knowledge, there appear to have been two types with slightly different dimensions and screw hole pitches (① Screw hole pitch: approx. 16mm, approx. 47mm, ② Screw hole pitch: approx. 17mm, approx. 48mm), and it seems the larger one with wider screw hole pitch was likely used in later manufactured models. The item has been cleaned and polished with abrasive agents before listing, but it is not completely free of dirt. The product was photographed in a shooting box with built-in lighting, but fine scratches were not well captured.
