This is a beautiful tea set by Hwang Jong-gu, known as a master of Goryeo celadon, a traditional Korean craft.
Elegant white egrets are inlaid on a pale, translucent celadon background. The set includes a small, elegant mini teapot and five comfortable teacups.
Hwang Jong-gu is a prominent figure in the Korean pottery world, having also served as a professor at Ewha Womans University, and his works are highly regarded for their technical skill and artistry.
