Vintage Cebe 495 Walter Cecchinel glacier glasses are one of the icons of modern ski eyewear, produced in only very limited quantities by the famous ski eyewear company Cebe. This is a really high-performance design with rubber coated ear stems that won't stick to your face even in extreme cold and front air vents that help prevent the glasses from fogging. Walter Cecchinel was the well-known instructor at the national ski and mountaineering school in Chamonix, France and led the development of new ax-traction and forward facing spikes along with related advanced techniques still used by mountain climbers of today. Note the adjustable ear stems, a really nice design feature for comfort and a more perfect fit. The unisex Cebe 495 frame measures approximately 5.5 temple to temple.
