Bean Ichimatsu Ichimatsu doll wig dress-up Japanese doll miniature wooden box HANAKO

The Hanako Trade Mark
Japanese Doll with six wigs

This is an old Japanese Mame Ichimatsu doll.
These were exported from Japan to America during the Meiji and Taisho eras, and are rare items that can still occasionally be found at American auctions today.

Although it is an Ichimatsu doll, the packaging is in English.
It is a set that includes the Mame Ichimatsu doll and 6 types of Japanese hairstyles (wigs): MOMOWARE, YUIWATA, SHIMADA, MARUMAGE, SHITAJIMAGE, and TEKOMAI.

The Ichimatsu doll is displayed standing on a base, so it can be displayed standing on its own as is.
The kimono is also very lovely with a classic pattern.

Mame Ichimatsu doll: Approximately 16 cm tall.
Outer box: Approximately 19 cm x 16 cm.
It comes in a beautiful wooden box.

As this is a very old item, there is some deterioration, but we believe it is in good condition for its age. We have taken many photos, so please refer to them. We would be happy if it finds a new owner who appreciates it.
