Description Antique copy of Dr. Martin Luther's Small Catechism, translated under the authority of the Evangelical Lutheran Synodical Conference of North America. This is an especially interesting old working copy containing extensive handwritten religious notes, Bible references and annotations from a previous owner. The front inscription is dated 1921, establishing that this copy was in use by that time. The actual publication date has not been confirmed, so the listing does not represent 1921 as the printing date. The book has clearly seen generations of use and remains in heavily worn, fragile antique condition. The brown cloth-covered boards show significant wear and fraying, particularly around the spine and edges. Interior pages have age toning, staining, handwriting and general wear. Binding has looseness/separation. The handwriting and signs of use have been left completely intact and are part of the book's history and character. Sold as-is as an antique/collectible book. Stored in a clean, smoke-free environment. Please review all photos as they are part of the description. Feel free to message me with any questions.
