The GT-X970 is a high-end A4 flatbed scanner that can scan negative film and save it as digital images. It is the previous model to the current GT-X980.
The biggest difference from the current model is that the GT-X980 uses an LED light source, while the GT-X970 uses a white cold cathode fluorescent lamp, which requires a warm-up time before startup.
