Description
beautiful vintage set of 4 matching porcelain cameo wall plaques. Each piece features a classic, romantic French Love Story courting couple scene inspired by the famous 18th-century artist Jean-Honoré Fragonard, complete with a printed Fragonard signature on the front. The round ceramic medallions are mounted directly onto a rich, dark brown velvet-lined backing and housed in elegant square gold-gilt wood frames. These mid-century pieces look stunning displayed together as a gallery wall arrangement or grouping.. Note that the frames show some vintage wear, including minor scuffs to the gold finish and typical aging on the cardboard backing.
