FMW Butt Cap Box for Cue Rods - Compatible with Rodcom (Daiko) - Rod Holder
38.15 $
Description
This is a butt cap box compatible with Rodcom (Daiko) Grouper rods, specifically the Gajo Grouper and Full Field Grouper models.
Manufacturer: FMW
Material: Super Duralumin
■ About the Material
Made from super duralumin, a lightweight and high-strength material also used in aircraft.
Its specific gravity is 2.8g/cm3, less than half that of stainless steel (7.93g/cm3), making it lightweight. Furthermore, its tensile strength is high at approximately 570N/mm2, compared to stainless steel's approximately 520N/mm2.
Each piece is machined from raw material, which inevitably increases the cost. However, the absence of welding points reduces the risk of breakage.
