Okinawan Folk Instrument Sanba (Sanba) Black Lacquered Wood Castanets

Description
Okinawan Folk Instrument - Sanba (Sanshin accompaniment instrument)
Wooden, lacquered
This is a castanet-like instrument.
Purchased several years ago at a Ryukyu lacquerware shop in Okinawa.
It has been used for karaoke and accompanying sanshin performances, so there are fine scratches and scuffs on the surface. However, it has a wonderful, well-used vintage feel.
How about adding it to your Okinawa collection?
