Description
Fenton Cobalt Blue Carnival Glass Basketweave Open Edge Crimped Bowl Vintage Description: Beautiful vintage Fenton carnival glass bowl in deep cobalt blue with a striking iridescent finish that flashes shades of purple, pink, teal, blue and gold depending on the light. This piece features Fenton’s Basketweave with Open Edge design, with a textured basketweave exterior, rows of oval openings around the upper portion, and a dramatically crimped/scalloped rim. The rich cobalt-blue base glass is especially attractive when viewed from underneath. Vintage piece with age-related surface wear/scuffing, particularly on the underside. There is also a visible line within the glass, shown in the photos. I have not definitively identified whether this is a manufacturing-related line or other imperfection, so please review the close-up photos carefully as part of the condition description. Please see all photos for condition and details, as they are part of the description.
