Description
Add a touch of mid-century romantic elegance to your home with this beautiful vintage porcelain relish dish. Styled in the traditional Austrian Royal Vienna fashion, this piece was produced by Arnart Imports in the mid-20th century. It features an elongated scalloped oval silhouette adorned with 12 highly detailed, Fragonard-style Courting Couple (Love Story) romantic vignettes along the border. The center medallion is finished in a lovely pastel pink accented by a bright, ornate gold-gilded filigree border. While originally designed as an olive, pickle, or celery serving dish, its elongated shape makes it absolutely perfect to repurpose today as an elegant vanity trinket dish or jewelry tray.
