Round Ruritan National lapel pin with a gold-tone finish, blue enamel accents and raised lettering surrounding the organization’s central “R” emblem. The Latin words “Rus,” meaning country, and “Urbs,” meaning city or town, reflect the organization’s mission to unite rural and urban community members through fellowship, goodwill and community service. The pin has a post-style back with a removable Ballou Reg’d metal clutch. Ruritan was founded in Holland, Virginia, in 1928. Good used condition.
