Description
American Splendor No. 2 comic book by Harvey Pekar showcases the gritty, autobiographical storytelling that defined the underground comix movement. This issue features iconic artwork by Robert Crumb, Greg Budgett, Gary Dumm, and Brian Bram, capturing the hum-drum life of Cleveland's own street-level philosopher. A significant piece of indie comic history, this volume contains over 60 pages of depressing yet deeply human stories that resonate with realism and dark humor. The cover art and interior panels remain vibrant, reflecting the unique collaborative spirit of Pekar's early self-published works.
