Made from a single piece of black cherry wood. Simple groove processing has been applied to highlight the wood grain. The size is suitable for use as a serving board as well.

As these are handmade items, there may be minor imperfections, but we hope you will appreciate them as part of their handmade charm. Wood varies individually, and we hope you will enjoy these differences as well.

~Advantages~
Extremely hard and water-resistant. Depending on the type of wood, the grain can beautifully emerge, and the occasional appearance of medullary rays is characteristic.

~Disadvantages~
Designed for knife use in camping settings. Please be careful of chipping when using thin-bladed knives. Due to the nature of the material, regular maintenance is required.

~Care~
Finished with beeswax. After use, gently wash with mild detergent and dry in the shade.
When the oil on the surface wears off, it will feel rough. Lightly sand with sandpaper (240-400 grit), then thinly apply beeswax (or a drying oil such as olive oil or linseed oil if beeswax is unavailable) and allow it to dry thoroughly.
