Vintage African Carved Wood Figural Salad Servers Fork Spoon Folk Art 14.5"

Striking vintage African hand-carved wooden salad serving set featuring a large fork and spoon with elongated figural handles. Each utensil is individually carved with a stylized human figure at the top and sculptural figural detail extending into the handle. Silvertone coiled wire collars accent the necks. The hardwood has dramatic natural two-tone coloration in deep brown/near-black and warm golden brown, giving each piece a distinctive appearance. The exact wood species and country/region of origin are unknown. The natural contrasting coloration is characteristic of some African hardwoods, including Kiaat, but we cannot confirm the specific wood used. Approximately 14.5 long. Condition: Very good vintage condition with no apparent flaws. Natural variations in wood grain and coloration are inherent to the material. Please see photos for complete condition assessment.
