In 1917, Charles Jourdan began manufacturing high-quality handmade women's shoes, marking the origin of the current brand Charles Jourdan. Since then, while modernizing production facilities, the brand has consistently pursued high-quality shoemaking.
In 1957, the first flagship store opened in Paris, and in the same year, the brand took a leap forward by designing shoes for Christian Dior.
In the 1960s, Charles Jourdan collaborated with designers such as Roger Vivier and André Perugia, growing into a global brand.
