【Pre-war / Vintage】Gramophone Record Revitalizer (Revival Oil) KF Shokai Retro

This is a pre-war (Taisho to early Showa period) record maintenance product for phonographs called Fukkatsu-yu (Revival Oil).

This is a rare accessory that was used at the time to protect the grooves of SP records and improve sound quality.

[Product Features]
Manufacturer: Tokyo KF Shokai
Design: The package design is full of Taisho Roman charm, featuring a woman in a kimono listening to a phonograph.
Contents: Includes the original tin can from the era and a cloth applicator (tampon).

[Condition]
Used: This item was used by its previous owner, and the applicator cloth shows signs of use, such as darkening.

Lid Stuck: The contents have solidified over time due to age, and the lid cannot be opened.
As there is a risk of damage if forced open, it is being sold in its current condition.

Outer Box: The outer box has scuffs, dirt, and tears due to age, but the illustration is still clearly discernible, giving it an antique aesthetic.

[Size]
Approximately 50mm x 42mm (outer box)
This would be a great display piece or historical document for phonograph collectors, or for those who appreciate Taisho Roman advertising art and retro雑貨 (zakka - miscellaneous goods).
As this is a very old item, please only purchase if you understand and appreciate vintage items.
