This synthetic leather Kotsuzumi is designed to be less affected by temperature and humidity, making it relatively easy to store and maintain. The body is plain black, and the tuning cords are made of nylon.
*Please note that synthetic leather Kotsuzumi cannot be re-tensioned.

This item was used for approximately 6 months for display and trial purposes about 3-4 years ago. While it shows some signs of use, it is in excellent condition.
A dedicated Kotsuzumi bag is included. A carrying case is not included, but a substitute cloth tote bag and a protective furoshiki (wrapping cloth) are provided.

They provided a large set of Kōen Daiko (flaming drums) for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, and have been involved in commissions for the Kabuki-za Theatre, the National Theatre, and the National Noh Theatre. Their business operations are extensive, including the manufacturing and sale of instruments for portable shrines, shrines, temple drums, festival floats, folk performing arts, Noh and Gagaku instruments, and festival tools, as well as the repair, restoration, and rental of portable shrines and drums. This is a product from a prestigious, long-established company that continues to evolve.
