Description

【Product Description】This is a rare Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 2500C Silver, a legendary reel. I am selling it to clear out my collection.

■ Model Details
Foot Number: 990001
Production Background: A rare model reissued at the Swedish factory during the Mamiya OP era in the late 1990s.
Specifications: This model intentionally features the traditional clicker mechanism (non-IAR), making it very popular among old-school fans and those who enjoy bait finesse fishing in mountain streams.

■ Product Condition
Operation:
The handle rotation and clutch disengagement are smooth, and it can be used for actual fishing without any issues. (※This is a subjective assessment, please check the images for details.)
Exterior: There are minor scuffs and small scratches due to use, but overall, I believe it is in good condition for its age.
Handle: The handle knob has been replaced with an aftermarket part (or one from another model).

■ Accessories
The reel and its bag are included.

■ Shipping
The item will be carefully packed with cushioning material (bubble wrap) and shipped via Mercari delivery service.
This is a great opportunity for those who understand vintage reels or are looking for a custom base.
