Shamisen Body, Thin Neck, with Hard Case, Akita Shamisen, Nagauta, etc., 3 Strings, Reason for Discount
Shamisen - Hosozawa (Thin Neck) - Akita Shamisen
The lid on the very top of the body is loose and comes off easily, so I've put a cover on it like a sock.
At the part where the upper strings hit the body, there should originally be a long, thin metal piece, and the strings rest on top of it.
That part is missing.
It can still be played without it, but I thought it would be better for someone who can make adjustments.
The Otaiko (drum skin) is very beautiful.
It seems to have been replaced and barely played since.
There is a hard case, but the surface feels sticky to the touch.
Perhaps this is unavoidable due to its age.
The key is missing.
These are the points of concern regarding this shamisen.
I played a song to say goodbye, and I was able to play it without any issues.
As it has some damage, I am offering it at a lower price than other shamisen.
To reiterate:
Akita Shamisen - Hosozawa (Thin Neck)
I believe it can be used for Nagauta and other thin-neck styles.
Includes a hard case (keyless).
Includes a paper cover for the Otaiko.
The shamisen bag is handmade by my teacher.
For the past decade or so, it has only been used once a year for junior high school students' experience sessions.
It was re-covered a few years ago, so I believe it can be used for quite some time.
There are numbered stickers for beginners.
I plan to ship it via RakuRaku Mercari Bin.
Thank you.
