Peninsula (Korean: 반도; English title: Peninsula) is a South Korean zombie film released in South Korea on July 15, 2020.
It is a post-apocalyptic work set four years after the 2016 film Train to Busan, depicting characters attempting to escape a devastated country.
The film is directed by Yeon Sang-ho, who also directed the previous film. It was an official selection of the 73rd Cannes Film Festival.
South Korea had lost its functionality as a nation due to a pandemic caused by a mysterious virus that turned humans into ferocious beings. Busan, initially thought to be safe, was actually infected by the virus.
