This is a reproduction of the 1940s 501XX with a leather patch, manufactured at the Levi's Valencia factory in the USA in 1999. The button backs are stamped with 555.
Tag size: 32. Actual measurements: approximately 75cm waist x 68cm inseam.
The denim, made by Cone Mills, which enthusiasts covet, has achieved a wonderful fade. It's characterized by a natural appearance, true to denim, rather than an exaggerated vintage feel.
There are noticeable scuffs and damage in areas like the thighs and pockets, but these are natural and contribute to the vintage atmosphere along with the fading. There is some light dirt, but no oil stains or paint marks.
Valencia models are known for their deep dye and stubborn fading, but this pair exhibits fading reminiscent of vintage jeans that have been worn daily for a long time. We highly recommend experiencing them for yourself.
