Original retail price was ¥360,000 (excluding tax). This is the flagship model, known as the highest-end DV deck for consumer use.

The previous owner used it for approximately 50 hours. It was then stored for a long time in an AV rack, and is in exceptionally good cosmetic condition for its age. I received it from my parents with the intention of digitizing their miniDV tapes, but was unable to achieve my goal due to the following issues. After diagnosis by a repair technician, it is being listed unrepaired.

[Exterior and Condition]
- The exterior of the unit is very clean.
- There is minimal dust inside, and it did not feel like it needed cleaning.
- The operational sounds during power, playback, fast forward, and rewind operations seemed normal.
(Confirmed with a cleaning cassette and remote control)

[Symptoms]
miniDV tapes do not play. The tape slightly snags and protrudes during ejection, displaying error code F11. According to the manufacturer, F11 is a code indicating a malfunction in the T-reel circuit. The previous owner also experienced a symptom where the transport dummy cassette would not fully insert, which may have been a precursor to the current failure.

[Repair Technician Diagnosis]
Plastic parts of the mechanical assembly have deteriorated and broken due to age. This model is known to have a tendency for the reel stand to crack. Manufacturer parts supply has ended, and the only solution is to transplant parts from a working unit. However, there is a high probability that the transplanted parts are also deteriorated, leading to a difficult to repair diagnosis.

This is not a fully functional item. Please consider it for repair, parts harvesting, restoration projects, or for display/reference purposes.

I believe that NV-DV10000 units in good exterior condition are rare. I hope to find a buyer who can appreciate the presence of this high-end machine from its era and the value of its beautiful casing.
