National RX-CD70: The Pinnacle of Bubble Era Radio Cassette Recorders | Powerful Sound | For Collectors

This is a listing for National's renowned masterpiece, the RX-CD70.
It is a prime example of a bubble era radio cassette recorder, where no expense was spared in incorporating the technology and materials of the time. These units are rarely found on the market today, and the number of well-maintained units is decreasing year by year, increasing their rarity.

This unit features powerful bass due to its large body and clear mid-high frequencies, allowing you to experience sound that shakes the air that cannot be replicated by current lightweight audio equipment. It also makes a statement as an interior piece and is a highly popular model for collectors of retro appliances and audio equipment from the Showa to early Heisei eras.

■ Product Condition ■

It appears my audio-loving father purchased this unit, but I am listing it as part of a decluttering effort during the organization of my parents' home.

For this listing, I have only confirmed that the unit powers on, as I do not have cassette tapes or other media on hand.
While there are some scratches and dirt due to it being a used item and long-term storage, it is in overall clean condition considering its age.

This appears to be a very rare radio cassette recorder. It rarely appears on the used market, making it a highly valuable and rare item. It is highly recommended for those who can repair it, collectors, or those who desire it as an interior decoration.

Please refer to the attached photos for detailed condition. We ask that only those who understand this purchase the item.

* Please note that this is sold as-is. There may be scratches or dirt not mentioned in the photos or description, so sensitive individuals should refrain from purchasing. Also, perceptions of condition vary from person to person, so we have included as many photos as possible. Please review them carefully and purchase only if you are satisfied.
