For cats and very small dogs, we select aged, hard branches and peel them to create these toys.

Unlike other products, we do not hollow out the wood, peel the bark, or shave it, so we receive many happy comments about the hardness and how much dogs take to them!

We've made a set of two, one pear wood and one zelkova wood, for those who want to try both.

The small branches are sturdy, so they seem to last a long time?
Please note that these are amateur measurements, so there may be some error.

Please compare the size to your dog's mouth size and the size of their current stuffed animals or balls.
For dogs in the nipping stage, male Japanese dogs, and active breeds, who have strong chewing power, a thickness that they can just barely hold will allow them to enjoy it for a long time.

Pear wood branches are less likely to have thorns sticking out, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so they are harmless if swallowed.
The bark is peeled one by one from pear wood branches from Niigata Prefecture and dried for two years.

As these are amateur handmade items, they are cut with a chainsaw and the small branches are sanded with a belt sander (file). However, please understand that there may be missed spots, or cracks and splits due to excessive drying.
As it is made of wood, their teeth will not be damaged, and as long as you choose the size carefully, there is no danger of injuring their mouths. However, please allow your dog to play under your supervision.
Please refrain from use if your dog has fruit allergies.
