This is a hexagonal small box depicting the traditional pattern Hanami-dori (flower-viewing birds) using the Surihaku Moriage Technique.
- Hanami-dori that enhances the solemn gold - Conveying Japanese beauty
Hakuichi's Hanami-dori series was born by incorporating the traditional beauty of Japan from ancient times. Against a background of Kanazawa gold leaf applied by hand-tearing, we depicted the elegant scene of birds quietly perched among flowers. The small birds and cherry blossoms are decorated using a unique technique called Surihaku Moriage Technique. This highly finished craft has been delivered to many customers over a long period. It is a popular item for gifts, celebrations, and souvenirs for people from overseas.
