Kagami Mochi and Lucky Charm New Year's Decorations ①

For miwa-tan

Thank you for looking.

I am listing handmade items from my aunt, who is a teacher of tsurushikazari (hanging decorations) and oshi-e (appliqué pictures) making classes.

Lucky New Year's Decorations
(Sea bream, plum blossom, fan, battledore, pinwheel, camellia, nandina, dice, rattle drum)

The decorations are attached to the base with thin wire, so you can adjust the balance to your liking.

Kagami Mochi (New Year's Rice Cake)
(Shiho-beni, urajiro, Hoshigaki, kombu, daidai orange)

Made with genuine silk and chirimen (crepe fabric) from old cloth, carefully crafted with wishes for a safe and prosperous year.
No synthetic fibers are used.

This is a set of gorgeous lucky New Year's decorations and kagami mochi adorned with lucky items.

As these are handmade, each piece is one-of-a-kind.

Enjoy the feeling of the season.
They would make a lovely interior decoration to brighten up your room or entryway, and would also be a well-received gift.
What do you think?

I make them with care, but I would be happy if someone who appreciates handmade items and old cloth would like them.
Thank you for your consideration.

I will carefully package and ship your order, primarily using recycled materials.
