This Tamamushi-nuri hand mirror features a lustrous, deep jet black finish, beautifully accented by paintings of cherry blossoms and autumn grasses. Tamamushi-nuri is a lacquerware technique originating from Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture.

It is unused and has been stored in a dark place.
