A set of 2 luxurious hikihaku Japanese papers.
It's a shame the beauty cannot be fully conveyed in the images, but you can enjoy the dazzling sparkle.
Foil is applied, then baked, and then lacquered.
※There is a stain approximately 1cm in diameter, as shown in the 5th image.
Hikihaku, which has various techniques applied to it, can be admired as is by framing it without any further work, or it can be used as material for Japanese-style art panels and more.

[Size]
Approximately 35.5cm x Approximately 26.5cm

※Hikihaku (引箔) is Japanese paper used in Nishijin weaving (mainly for high-end obi sashes). Pure silver or gold foil is used, and there are various techniques such as lacquering, dyeing, baking, and kneading. There are many varieties, and many of the techniques are proprietary secrets, with various names for the techniques.

※This item has been stored in my home. As it is old Japanese paper, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned after viewing the images.
