This voluminous double-loop snood was created because the washed Ojiya Tsumugi pure silk bolt developed a texture similar to Ojiya Chijimi (see photo 3).
It has a crisp, linen-like stiffness, but we believe it will soften with repeated washing. We appreciate your understanding of kimono remakes.
