Description
I'm selling this whetstone because the number of whetstones I use for work has increased, and I need to organize them.
This is a finishing whetstone made from natural stone from Kyoto.
Five sides, excluding the grinding surface, have been protected.
It has thick lines, so it's easier to sharpen if you avoid them while sharpening.
I think it's also good for sharpening plane blades and chisels.
While it's not a very large whetstone, if you are experienced with sharpening, you can also sharpen large blades.
If you take your time and sharpen carefully, you will achieve a very sharp edge.
It's not a perfect square, so it's a bit difficult to tell the size, but it's approximately 180mm x 85mm.
The thickness is also not uniform, but it's about 49mm at its thickest point.
