Himalayan (2400m altitude, Nepal)
Made from original, naturally cultivated hemp stalks (with fiber).
Usage is the same as the Taiwanese product,
but it is recommended for special occasions and when you really need it.
Some people mix it with the Taiwanese product.
Himalayan hemp charcoal is produced in cooperation with villagers who traditionally eat hemp seeds.
Currently, as part of employment support activities in mountain villages,
we teach Nepalese people a safe and hygienic Dutch oven carbonization method, and carefully produce 300g of hemp charcoal at a time.
This charcoal is then inspected, ground, and refined in Miyakojima, and undergoes processes such as mixing with beneficial microorganisms and enzymes, sun-drying, moon-drying, and star-drying (similar to the Taiwanese product) before being bagged under the sun during the day.
